Perhaps the only thing Morgan Lily loves more than acting is helping others. Her volunteerism seemingly knows no boundaries, as she has spent countless hours donating both time and money to assist with a variety of non-profit organizations and charities.

Morgan is passionate about helping animals. She fosters and bottle-feeds kittens, and her family has rescued four dogs, two cats, and even a hamster. Her menagerie of pets also includes a guinea pig, a bearded dragon, and two fish tanks.

Though Morgan is dedicated to supporting many worthy causes, perhaps none are as important to her as the fight against cancer. Like many of us, Morgan has felt the affects of cancer through family members who have bravely battled this disease. Morgan’s cousin was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma at just 3 years old, and her grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Morgan proudly donates both her time and part of her acting earnings to cancer organizations such as Candlelighters® Childhood Cancer Foundation, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and Ronald McDonald House Charities. She also participates in the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society’s annual “Light the Night Walk”.

Along with donating her own money, Morgan is actively seeking ways to encourage others to support worthy causes as well. She is currently spearheading an online fundraising campaign that will incorporate her burgeoning acting career with school and community involvement to raise money for charitable organizations. The campaign involves selling gold ribbons and bracelets online to signify a unified front in the fight against childhood cancer. All proceeds will benefit Morgan’s favorite charities.

As Morgan’s acting career continues to grow, so too will her dedication to charity work and philanthropy. She hopes to continue bringing awareness to people about the significance of childhood cancer and what we can do, together, to conquer it.
